Octo

Octo is an image catcher for a class of primary school children. Octo makes pictures and sends them to a company. This company creates an animation movie
based on the pictures the children took. After 24 hours the movie will be ready and sent back to the Octo, now the class can watch the movie. This project focuses on the user experience. The final product exists of a prototype, a name and a logo.

USER SCENARIO

The product has three separate cameras for three different children of the class. The purpose of our image catcher is to let the children share glimpses of their own lives with the rest of the class. Once the pictures are taken, the cameras are placed back in the image catcher and a line drawing of the picture will appear on the coloured part above the camera. While the images load the coloured parts start to move towards each other. Once the waiting is over the coloured parts are on top of each other and can be pushed in the image catcher, a projector will pop out and start playing the movie.
